Octavia Full Color 3d Print by Hashbro Octavia Full Color 3d Print by Hashbro
It's here and it looks awesome!

Material is full color sandstone.
The surface feels somewhat rough but the forms carried over nicely. You can even make out very small details in the sculpt like her nostrils.
The whole thing is actually kind of heavy and pretty sturdy.
The tail and hairtips are surprisingly accurate, I was afraid they wouldn't print well or break off during transport.

The texture looks good too although I'm a bit disappointed by the contrast of the dark grey of her hair and the bright grey of the stripes.
There is no colorbleeding between parts, the mane, coat and bowtie are clearly seperated.

All in all I'm pretty happy with it and it will be aviable on Shapeways very soon.
If you have any questions, please let me know through the comments.

Next up is Vinyl Scratch :D

Your proportions on your models are very good.  I wish Hasbro would have just hired you to help them out.

I have some questions! How much did this cost/would this cost to do? How large is it? Can it be sanded smooth? Or, can other types of 3d printing materials be sanded smooth?

Sure thing! :)
She's 33,84€ which is around 40$ on Shapeways:[link]
From what I understand the sandstone can be sanded, I think the colored sand on the outside is a few milimeters thick.
I never tried it though and if you take off too much you will get to the white inside.

Other materials like the flexible plastic, you can order polished for a small additional fee. But it's more expensive and it won't be textured, just white.
This material is a lot more sturdy and won't break as easily.

If you're interested, just shoot me a message and I'll make the material available for you.
I usually turn off the other materials since people accidentally ordered the wrong material and were disappointed when they got a white print instead of the colored ones.
